Strength Munich (2022)

Strength strength munich core support-work

During the Munich block, strength was support work around key track sessions.

Main Components

  • Core and trunk stability circuits
  • Bodyweight strength patterns
  • Gymnastic-style control work
  • Low-to-moderate load strength on selected days

What This Included In Practice

  • 10-20 minutes of stabilization and plank variations on many days
  • Foot and ankle work (often short sand-based foot-strength sessions)
  • Gymnastic control elements (for example rope climbs, dips, handstand-related drills)
  • General strength circuits for trunk and arms with controlled load

Weekly Use

  • Usually 2-4 support units per week
  • Often paired with easy running or placed after key sessions
  • Intensity kept moderate to protect quality in the next track workout

Practical Rule

Keep strength high quality, but never let it compromise the next key running session.
