Who I Am

About Me

My running journey started when my sister told me that she likes the track & field group she was training in once a week. After I ended my table-tennis career I thought to give it a try. I quickly wanted more. More practice and more competition. That is when I started to move into a bigger training setup.

I got thrown into a distance group and saw myself racing from 1500m up to 10k. But I decided I wanted to run the 800m. A perfect balance of speed and endurance.

The better I got, the more I realized that people who are really good at something usually do 100% that one thing. I felt drained between studies and sport, and it started to feel like they did not fit together. That is when I thought about going abroad and trying one more time in an environment built for combining university and high-level sport.

So this is what I am doing right now: Stacking steps, pushing pace, raising resilience, increasing intensity, narrowing noise and target toughness.
