Breathing

Breathing breathing racing technique

I recently read this from Marco Arop: during races, try not to breathe too high into the chest. Instead, breathe deeper into the belly to keep the shoulders low and relaxed.

When you breathe into your upper chest, your shoulders rise. That tension costs energy and tightens your form. Breathing lower keeps everything relaxed and efficient, especially in the last 200m when it matters most.
