My Journey

Munich Diaries

Back at the indoor track today for my first session after two weeks being at home.

I’ll be honest — I’m a bit disappointed with my sprintwork recently. Not satisfied. Also my sleep rhythm recently was terrible — up until 3 AM, waking at 1 PM. Lessons learned. It’ll get better.

The highlight of last week: PB 1:50.70 in Erfurt, indoors. But then also a 400m in 50 seconds and a 200m in 23 — sprint-wise I clearly have work to do.

I work twice a week now at a running store — my task itself is boring, but it is interesting to ask and learn about how the business works.

The summer season has started.

I went to a training camp in Brixen and got sick halfway through — more than three weeks. This really feels like it sets me back. Do I lose all of my fitness?

First races are starting. 1:52.4 as a solo opener — not exactly relaxed but solid. 48.75 at the university championships.

Then: PB 1:50.02 in Karlsruhe. And right after, I finally found a Flatshare with cool people after searching for almost 6 Months.

First time sub 1:50 in Regensburg. Lets goo.

Next one: 1:48.8 in Pfungstadt. New PB by over a second. Still processing it :)
